QR Scanner | Barcode Scanner does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location data. All core functionalities operate locally on your device without transferring your personal media or scan history to external servers.

A. Media Files & QR Data

• Media Files: The app accesses media files (images and videos) only when you explicitly select them to scan embedded QR codes, or when you save generated QR codes to your gallery. Media is processed entirely on-device.
• QR Code History: Scanned and created QR code data is saved strictly to your device’s local storage on the history screen for your reference. We do not upload, share, or sell this history.

B. Location Information

We do not collect, access, or track your real-time location information for any purpose.

3. Device Permissions

To provide core functionalities, the application requests the following permission access on your device:

• Camera Permission: Required to scan QR codes and barcodes in real-time using your device’s camera.
• Microphone Permission: Used solely to support the optional beep/auditory feedback setting during successful scans.
• Gallery Permission: Required to allow scanning of QR codes embedded within images and videos stored in your media library.
• Storage / Media Library Permission: Needed to save generated QR codes directly to your device’s local storage.

4. Advertising & Third-Party Services

To keep our app free, we integrate Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process anonymous device data to serve relevant ads. This may include:

• Advertising Identifiers: Non-sensitive identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) used to display personalized or non-personalized ads.
• Technical & Diagnostic Data: IP address, device specifications, and interaction performance to deliver ad services and prevent fraudulent activity.

Our application is not directed to children under the age of 13. Because the app does not gather personal identification details and processes scan features locally on your device, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
